複雑な感覚をもたらすリハーサルの写真。

コロナ渦

想像を超えた数々の困難な状況にかかわらず、
才能溢れるあるアーティスト達と一緒に
新しい作品を生み出すことができた
素晴らしい時間の思い出。

同時に「次の瞬間には全てが終わるかもしれない」
という不安と背中合わせの毎日が、
ある種の一体感を生み出し、
作品に特別な雰囲気と感覚をもたらしました。

Those photos bring me a quite complex feeling.

Memories of great times,
being in the studio creating with wonderfully talented artists,
regardless of the unexpected situation of the Pandemic.

At the same time the constant anxiety of the thoughts
“it could end anytime”
which created some sort of united feelings
and also brought a special engagement towards the piece.

毎日のクラスやリハーサルは
当たり前ではないこと

ステージに立ち観客に壮観なパフォーマンスを提供することは、
観客だけでなく私たち自身のためでもあること

同僚を抱き締めたり、
瞬間を共有したり、
友達と笑ったりすることは、
人間としての
不可避なジェスチャーであること

全ての認識を改めました。

私たちは今回学んだことを決して忘れないように、
そしてこのメッセージが何であったかをさらに考えるべきです。

このような機会が与えられた事実を
真剣に受け止めて
新たな意識を持ち毎日を過ごしていこうと思います。

We recognised that our daily classes and rehearsals are not for granted.
We recognised that being on the stage, performing and offering the spectacular to the audiences isn’t only for them but for ourselves.
We recognised that hugging colleagues, sharing moments, laughing with friends are inevitable human gestures.

We need to remember and never forget what we have learned.
And think about what was the message of this pandemic.

Thank you for giving me this unforgettable opportunity.
I shall go farther with a new consciousness.
